Well, number 6 was fun, wasn’t it? We were exhausted from learning so much about incredible science in such a short space of time. We also raised over £300 for the Copenhagen Youth Project, which will help them do even more good work with young people around Islington and North London.
And we can do all the fireball noises from Street Fighter 2, now.
It’s time to sign up for the next London gig, if you’ve got any science to communicate in any way. For this gig we’re trying to encourage people who have never taken the stage at Science Showoff before to give it a go, so if you’ve performed for us in 2012 already please only sign up as a reserve for now (we’ll bump some of you if we can’t get enough newbies!).
Sign up sheet for a 9-minute slot to do ANYTHING AT ALL about any kind of science is here:
So come along and talk, demonstrate, act, tell jokes, play music, show a video, dance, perform a sketch, or anything else about science at all. The gig is April 3rd at our usual home (The Wilmington Arms), with doors at 7pm.
