It had to happen.
For over a year now we’ve hosted Science Showoff, the open mic night for communicators and practitioners of science, where anyone can do anything about any kind of science on a stage for 9 minutes or less. We’ve done the same for Museums (with Museums Showoff).
And now it’s time for Social Science.
On November the 6th we’d like to invite people from across the world of Social Science to perform for us. You might be a University researcher, a commercial pollster, a transport analyst, a government researcher, a third-sector research commissioner, an intelligent brand consultant, a behavioural theorist, or IN FACT ANYONE WHO STUDIES WHY PEOPLE DO WHAT PEOPLE DO.
And you can do anything as long as it’s about social science. Show us data, tell us jokes, sing a song, show off an amazing new technique, share findings, tell us stories about your work, screen a 9-minute documentary, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING AT ALL.
